Our name

The name Pandanas comes from the Pandanas
(Pandanus or Pandan tree)
Chosen for its dual meaning
“Pan” referencing the steelpan instrument from the Trinidad
Pandanus tree — a culturally significant plant to the Australian First Nations peoples and an integral part of the Northern Rivers coastal ecosystem in New South Wales
